【実車紹介】
キハ55系は準急用気動車として1956年に登場しました。
1959年頃から初期急行色が採用され準急色やこの後に登場する急行色と併結され活躍しました。
キハ55形は2エンジン搭載車、キハ26形は1エンジン搭載車で使用線区に合わせて配属がされました。
キロ25形の等級帯は青1号で巻かれていました。
