【mila schon / ミラショーン】1958年のオートクチュールコレクションがミラ・ショーン（mila schon）のブランドの始まり。1965年のフィレンツェ・ピッティ宮殿でのコレクションで、ダブルフェイス素材の発表と共に世界デビューを果たした。デザイナーのミラ・ショーンは、好んでパリやミラノの芸術家の展覧会に足を運び、作品からインスピレーションを受けてファッションと融合させデザインに落とし込んだ。デザインの特徴は「加えていくのではなく、無駄なものをそぎ落としていく」。シンプルさを追求するスタイルがコレクション全体を通して表現されている。
