【重房包丁の特徴】
●現在を代表する和包丁鍛冶です。
●鋼と軟鉄を合わせ通常の片刃包丁は経年変化で反りが生じます。また本焼包丁は反りが出にくいが研ぎにくい欠点があります。
●重房の片刃包丁は、反りが出にくく、研ぎ易いのが特徴です。
●手に取ってみるとバランスの良さと姿の美しさにうなずかれることと思います。
