ケースに小さい割れがあります。アップアップガールズ（２）というグループ名にちなんで、2 月 22 日（水）の“ニキの日”にリリースとなる２枚目 EP 「 Life Is Beautiful ／シ ーユーだけ。 Dong-Dong-Dong!!!!!!!!／ドレス／好きな人の好きな人」。新曲５曲を収録した大ボリュームの今作は、「アイドル界のドン・キ ホーテ」を歌うアップアップガールズ（２）らしく、様々な楽曲をそれぞれのカラーで表現した、アプガ２らしさとまだ見ぬアプガ２の側面を感じ 取れる１枚となっています。 １曲目の「Life Is Beautiful 」は、メンバーの鍛治島彩が作曲を手掛けた、生きる素晴らしさ、そして仲間と過ごす日々の輝きを歌った１曲。
アップアップガールズ（２）のテーマでもある“青春”をまっすぐに感じさせる楽曲となっています。２曲目の「シーユーだけ。」はシンガーソングライターのナツノコエが手掛けた別れをテーマにした１曲。元気なだけではない、アップアップガールズ（２）の切なく淡い表情を楽しめる１曲となっています。３曲目の「 Dong Dong Dong!!!!!!!! 」はケンカイヨシが手掛け、年始の Zepp Haneda 単独公演で初披露された楽曲。ありのままの自分を称える、歌もダンスもパワフルな新しいファイトソングとなっています。４曲目の「ドレス」は、夜のネオンを感じさせる楽曲。歌唱面でもメンバーの個性が光る、大人のポップソングとなっています。５曲目の「好きな人の好きな人」は数々のアイドルソングを手掛けるヤマモトショウによる、アップアップガールズ（２）への初の提供楽曲。“青春”をまた異なる角度から描いた、これまでにない 1 曲となっています。
今作のジャケット写真は、制服に身を包んだメンバーの、青春のワンシーンを切り取ったビジュアルとなっています。さらに、今回はアイドル web マガジン「ガラスガール」とのコラボレーションを実施。ガラスガールのサイト内で、撮影のアザーカットや見れるコンテンツも公開予定となります 。
３月からは、メンバーの地元と名古屋・大阪をまわる春ツアーを開催します。この 2nd EP を引っ提げ、アップアップガールズ（２）がつくる青春の１ページにぜひご注目ください。
