車体の「開口部」はプレス押から、エッチング抜きに。
雨樋・サボ受け等は別部品となり、シャープなラインやエッジが再現されます。
屋根上配管ダクト・連結面貫通扉の有無を再現。
北海道仕様の特徴である妻面下に回りこんだ赤帯も実車どおり再現しました。
業務用窓の増設された姿を再現しました。
今回より給水口の蓋を表現しております。
