仙台市地下鉄東西線は、2015年に開業した八木山動物公園駅～荒井駅間の営業距離13．9kmのリニア地下鉄です。
現在運行している2000系車両は、開業時から活躍する車両で現在15編成在籍しています。
先頭車前面の兜の前立てをイメージした三日月ラインの色が異なる2編成を製品化します。
本製品は、専用動力ユニット、走行用パーツも同梱したトータルセットとなっています。
別売りパーツの指定はありません。
ミニカーブレールのカーブC140に対応。
動力ユニット組込対応車両を除き、金属車輪・金属ウェイト取付済です。
走行の際には付属の専用アーノルドカプラーユニットを取り付けてください。
専用動力ユニットは商品に付属しています。

【リニア地下鉄ってなに？】
通常の電車は台車にモーターが搭載されていますが、リニア地下鉄ではレールの間に設置した金属板と車両に搭載した電磁石との反応で車両を動かします。
モーターが無い分車両の高さを抑え、トンネルを小さくできることで建設費の削減や、優れた登坂能力、急カーブの走行などルート設定の自由度が高いのが魅力です。
現在全国5都市7路線で運用されています。
