居合道歴15年の作者が真田紐を使ってこだわりの下げ緒を作りました。本品は金沢の老舗工房、織元すみやの丈夫な木綿真田紐を使用し、一本一本手作業で下げ緒に仕上げています。
真田紐は縦糸と横糸を織り合わせた紐で、摩擦や引っ張りに強いという特性を生かし、古くから茶器を収める箱の紐や刀の下げ緒などに広く用いられてきました。また、使い込むことで味わいのある風合いが楽しめるのも真田紐の特徴です。
長さは居合刀に用いる下げ緒として一般的な２４０センチ、幅は約１．２センチです。この長さですと制定居合８本目の顔面当ての送り鞘動作がとてもやりやすいと好評をいただいています。工作上、長さはわずかに前後する場合があります。
ご希望の長さでお作りすることもできます。長くしたい、短くしたい、120センチ×二本にしたい、などお気軽にご相談ください。追加料金はいただきません。落札後、お支払い前にお知らせ頂けるとスムーズに準備ができます。
