品番はMB-65なのかMB-55なのか不明ですが、初期のJAPAN EDITION MB-78とはハードウェアが異なるので違います。B.C.RichのMockingbird Bassは前後ともPタイプのPUがマウントされていて、重低音を重視したサウンドが特徴ですが、商品にマウントされているPUはさほど重低音ではなく、明るい音色ですので、ヘビメタのイメージとは異なり、色んな音楽ジャンルで気軽に使えそうなサウンドです。
コントロールは２ボリューム／１トーンで、B.C.Richは殆ど前後のボリュームが見た目と逆になってますが、このモデルでは見た目通りの前後ボリュームになってます。サウンドもあまりB.C.Richらしくないですし、気軽に演奏するイージーなベースという雰囲気です。
商品は光の加減で見える様な些細な擦りキズや小さなタッチアップは有りますが、普通に見て目立つ様なものは有りません。ペグのノブにはメッキの劣化が有りますが、他はキレイですし、全体的に見れば塗装の艶やパーツ類もキレイな美品です。
フレットの減りは殆ど無く、ネックの状態は完璧で、弦高も少し低めにセッティング出来ています。非常に弾き易く良いコンディションです。新弦を張って、ネック調整、弦高バランス、オクターブピッチ調整、PUバランス、各ネジ類の増し締め等を行ってベストコンディションに仕上げてありますので、このままで気持ち良く演奏出来ると思います。
