ご覧いただきまして誠にありがとうございます。アルバム紹介、天才ジャズアルトサックス奏者Art Pepperの"The Artistry Of Pepper"を出品
します。
1925年9月、カルフォルニア州生。
1953〜54年に麻薬により収監、入院でブランクがあったが、56年に復帰後に当時の西海岸で活躍していた名手達と共演した4つのセッションを集めたのが本アルバムです。
A面1の曲、B面1の曲はまさに面目躍如の素晴らしい演奏です。
