英国が西インド諸島を領有した際に献上されエリザベス女王が愛用、以後200年間門外不出とされた海島綿を、高級綿の取り扱いを得意とするEMILCOTONI社が紡いだ糸です。それを当方が手編み用に太く加工しました。
当方の毛糸通販サイトで販売中の1498、4本取りで立体リリヤン状になっています。
長い繊維・優雅なシルクのような光沢・カシミアのような肌触り「繊維の宝石」「幻のコットン」など様々な称号を与えられた高級綿です。ニット工場の残り糸なので格安価格にて。出品はカセですがリクエストあれば玉巻も出品いたします。
