■Majestic Four /Magic Fun Fair 2000年 帯付
コレクターズの４人が60年代～90年代のサイケな音楽をオマージュしたような覆面バンド、Majestic Four。
その感覚はXTCの覆面バンドDUKES OF STRASPHEARのような存在ととらえたくなる。
そして、本盤には1曲だけカバーが収録されていて、
パワーポップファンやビートルズの遺伝子系音楽好きには有名な名曲♪Judy Over The Rainbow
本曲のアレンジがまたオリジナルのORANGE/ORGON BOXのヴァージョン以上にかっこいい。
ちなみにこの曲はコーネリアスが♪ROCK/96でも引用・オマージュした楽曲。
ちなみにちなみにこのカバー選曲はMajestic Fourが音楽誌「ストレンジデイズ」編集長岩本晃市郎さんに相談した際にお勧めされたのだとか。
現在入手困難なのが惜しい名盤。
