「ＹＶＲＥＳＳＥ」とは、フランス語の「ｉｖｒｅｓｓｅ」のｉをＹに変え、ＹＳＬらしくしたもの。「ほろ酔い」という意味。もともと１９９３年の発売時は「シャンパーニュ」という名前の香水でしたが、商標上の問題で裁判となり結局「ＹＶＲＥＳＳＥ」と改名を余儀なくされた、いわく付きの一品です。その際に、香り・パッケージともにリニューアルされました。名前の通り、周りの人をも酔わせる、魅力的な香りです。付けすぎに要注意の、香水上級者向けの香りですが、その上品さ、ゴージャス感は大人の女性につけて欲しい香りです。
