2006年リリースだが、レコーディング自体は2002年10月、『エニシング・ゴーズ』を録音したのと同時で、メルドーはこの2日間を『創造性に富んだ2日間』と呼んでいるようだ。この2日間で録音されたのは18曲で、これらはオリジナル
とカバーに分けられ、カバーを集めた方のアルバムが2004年リリースの『エニシング・ゴーズ』であり、オリジナルに
最近レコーディングした1と7を加えたものが本作である。そしてbrad氏もご指摘のように5『Wait』は日本盤のみの
ボーナス・トラックとなっていて、『創造性に富んだ2日間』の全てを手に入れるには日本盤を手に入れるしか
ないということでもある。それ以上に日本盤に価値があるのは、自身の作曲・トリオ等に触れた長大なライナー・ノーツの
日本語訳が添付されていることにある。バッハやブラームスの分析に始まり、コード付与によるインプロビゼーションへの
疑問の投げかけなど多岐にわたる興味深い内容である。なおかつ、本作について10年続いたブラッド・メルド
ー・トリオの到達点だと言い切っている
