青森県三戸町出身の絵本作家故馬場のぼるの代表作「11ぴきのねこ」のイラストをフルラッピングしたバスが
岩手県北自動車南部支社(南部バス)の八戸市のラピア・ピアドゥ～南部バス三戸営業所間で運行されています。
青森県三戸町は11ぴきのねこをはじめ、馬場先生の作品を活用したまちづくり、町への誘客を進めており、ラッピングバスは馬場先生の絵本を出版する「こぐま社」の協力を得て企画、制作されました。
車体だけではなく、車内も乗客に楽しんでもらうため、天井やつり革など、11ぴきのねこたちで飾られています。
