僕は20年前のあの夏へ帰っていく。セイジと出会ったあの夏へ。まだバブルの熱気が残っていた時代。学生最後の夏休みを迎えた「僕」(森山未來)は、適当に就職先を決めて、一人自転車旅行に出かけた。見知らぬ街をいくつも越えた時、衝突事故を起こして旧道沿いに立つドライブイン・HOUSE475に辿り着く。普段は寡黙だが心を捉える言葉を持つ店主のセイジ(西島秀俊)と、夜な夜な集まる個性的な常連客たちに何故か強く惹かれた「僕」は、いつのまにか住み込みで働くようになる。見知らぬ場所の、自分とは全く別の人生をおくる人々との毎日は刺激的で楽しく、「僕」は居場所を見つけたような気分になるのだが・・。セイジのことがもっと知りたくなった「僕」は、密かに彼の周辺を探り始めた矢先、平和な日常を一瞬で吹き飛ばしてしまう惨殺な事件が起こる。
