恐竜の謎と優れた特性を体験し、至近距離でふれあうことができる高級リゾート「ジュラシック・ワールド」。このパークのマネージメントに意欲満々の野心家クレアの元へ2人の甥っ子、16歳のザックと11歳のグレイが訪ねてくる。フリーパスを渡された2人は、ジャイロスフィアという360度周りが見渡せるアトラクションに乗って恐竜の間を回っていた。しかしその時、あまりの凶暴さゆえに隔離状態で飼育されていた、禁断の遺伝子組み換え大型恐竜「インドミナス・レックス」が逃亡し、ジャングルの奥深くへと姿を消す。それはパーク内のすべての生き物の命が危険にさらされていることを意味していた…。
