石質隕石（Condrite NWA 869）普通コンドライト（L4－6）に分類。
2001年にモロッコとアルジェリアの国境のTindoufという町の近くで発見。
落下年は不明。これまでに数トン回収されており、サハラ砂漠の隕石の中では非常に有名。ほとんどの石質隕石のビーズはこの隕石で作られている。
大部分が普通コンドライト（表面や切断面にコンドリュールと呼ばれている丸い粒が確認できる）だが、炭素やエイコンドライト隕石（角礫岩質）の性質も混在している珍しい隕石だという報告もある。
