国産高級木綿糸を用いて丹念に織り上げた真田紐で作った下げ緒です。真田紐は縦糸と横糸を織り合わせた紐で、摩擦や引っ張りに強いという特性を生かし、古くから茶器を収める箱の紐や刀の下げ緒などに広く用いられてきました。また、使い込むことで味わいのある風合いが楽しめるのも真田紐の特徴です。
本品は居合道を13年続けている現役剣士が、実際の稽古や演武に使用することを考慮して選び抜いた丈夫な袋織の真田紐を使って一本一本手作りしています。
長さは居合刀に用いる下げ緒として一般的な２４０センチ、幅は約１．２センチです。この長さですと制定居合８本目の顔面当ての送り鞘動作がとてもやりやすいと好評をいただいています。工作上、長さはわずかに前後する場合があります。
ご希望の長さでお作りすることもできます。長くしたい、短くしたい、120センチ×二本にしたい、などお気軽にご相談ください。追加料金はいただきません。落札後、お支払い前にお知らせ頂けるとスムーズに準備ができます。
