～～ カラー146分 状態：良、ケースにスレ～2013年ザルツブルク音楽祭を席巻した「エル・システマ」～ ラトルが7歳から16歳のベネズエラの子供たちと作りあげた音楽 2013年のザルツブルク音楽祭では、あのベネズエラの「エル・システマ」が特集されました。「エル・システマ」は、音楽を通じて貧困層の子供たちを救う画期的な音楽教育システム。今や世界的指揮者となった若き天才指揮者グスターヴォ・ドゥダメルもエル・システマの教育を受け活躍している一人。
この映像は、そのベネズエラから招待された約1200人のメンバーが、世界一の音楽祭で活躍する場面が収録されています。ベネズエラ国立児童交響楽団の指揮を務めたのは、ベルリン・フィルの首席指揮者サー・サイモン・ラトル。ラトルもまた、子供たちへの音楽指導に力を注いでおり、この「エル・システマ」の活動にも賛同しています。ベネズエラ国立児童交響楽団のメンバーは7歳から16歳という年齢で、ガーシュウィンのキューバ序曲、ヒナステラのエスタンシア、マーラー: 交響曲第1番というプログラムを見事に演奏していす。ヒナステラは、ベネズエラの期待の若干19歳の指揮者ヘスース・パラが担当。いつも通りの躍動的な演奏で最後の締めは全員のダンスで締めくくられています。またラトルも、子供たちの溢れだす可能性をまとめあげ、充実した演奏を聴かせてくれます。最後は拍手喝采のスタンディングオーベーション。観客・演奏者ともに感動に包まれ、アンコールにはラトルによるマンボ、その後にはパラによるラデツキー行進曲が演奏され、大きな盛り上がりとともに終了した大興奮のコンサート映像です。
