レザークラフト、ヨーロッパ目打ちと併用して使用されることの多いフレンチオウルです。ヨーロッパ錐・フラットオウル等とも呼ばれ、開けた穴が直線的である事が特徴です。
使い方は一般的な菱ギリと同じです。
あまり知名度の高くない商品ではありますが、使ってみると美しい作品作りに役立つ一品かと思います。
美しい黒檀製(エボニー)のハンドルは高級家具等にも使われる木材で、手馴染みがよく非常に硬いので永くお使いいただけるかと思います。
