英国の陶芸家ジェニー・ウィンスタンレイの作品で、ウィンスタンレイキャット(ケンジントンキャット)と呼ばれているヴィンテージ作品です。
サイズは「 5」、抱き上げるとずっしりとした重みで、とても大きなウィンスタンレイ・キャットです。
サイズ5のこの猫は、悠然と前足を立てて鎮座し威厳と風格を漂わせています。
ウィンスタンレイキャットは、サイズ1からサイズ8(特注で10まで？)まで存在しますが、このサイズ5となると、国内ではなかなかお目にかかることはありません。大型の作品は、重量が重く国際送料が割高になり、輸送中の破損などもあるようで、なかなか輸入されないようです。
