鉄道模型用の軌道回路検知式自動閉塞信号機です。
列車通過後一定時間が経過すると自動で信号現示が変わるタイマ式と違い、列車の在線位置によって信号現示が変化します。
列車在線検知用に1本の線路を絶縁ジョイナやギャップレールを使って複数の軌道回路に分割して給電する必要があります。
また、信号電流を確保するために停車中も1.5V程度の電圧をかけておく必要があります。常点灯機能のあるコントローラであれば常時信号電流を確保できますし、常点灯機能がなくてもコントローラからの出力を完全に0にしなければ動作可能です。
本製品は継電箱のスイッチによって在線状況に関わらず、強制的に停止現示とすることが可能な半自動信号機となります。
信号機の外観については既製品に比べて見劣りするものですが、列車通過後に時間経過で現示アップする信号機に物足りなさを感じる方はぜひご検討ください。
