当方で交配したハイブリッドで、4,5,6枚目の写真が親株になります。
写真5枚目Seedのpapillilaminumは南米業者から購入したワイルド由来の物です。数あるpapillilaminumの中で一株だけ古い葉の葉脈のつけ根にも赤みが残っている株があるのを見て購入しましたが、流通している一般的なpapillilaminumの葉脈をそのまま赤くしたような外見なので識別のために(wild, red vein)としています。自然交雑なのか元々そのような特徴のタイプなのか詳細は不明です。
写真6,7枚目Pollenのantolakii(Tezula F2)はアメリカのナーセリーであるTezula plantsの実生で、UrbunJungleさん経由で入手したものです。非常にダークな葉で知られるantolakii(BVEP=black velvet eastern panama)ですが、この個体は葉脈つけ根の盛り上がりが大きく、新葉の赤色が鮮やかで質感がシルクのように滑らかです。
赤みの特に強い個体をセレクトしています。硬化した葉は非常にダークで葉脈の付け根に赤みがしっかりと残ります。写真では分かりにくいですが、葉の質感はantolakiiのように滑らかなベルベット感があります。
