モーター音がしない場合はモーター不良の可能性が大きいです。前兆現象としてミラーの開閉操作をしてもたまに片方だけモーター音がせず動かない事がある(何度か開閉ボタンを押すと直る)など接続不良？の様な症状が出て、暫く様子を見ていると完全に動かなくなる、などあります。
私も右左ミラーが故障して動かなくなり、モーター交換や樹脂製から金属製ギアへと交換しました。手間は掛かりますがディラーで4万円前後の修理代を考えると同じ境遇でDIYでお安く交換したい人にオススメ致します。
サイドミラースイッチを入れても空回りして格納しない場合、内部のギアが不良の可能性が高いです。
