-ヌメ革-
使い続けることで色合い、柔らかさ、艶が増す、牛革のヌメ革を使用しています。
ヌメ革とは、タンニン鞣しによりなめされている為、当初は繊維がびっしりと並んでいて固いです。
しかし、使い続けることで繊維がほぐれ柔らかくなっていき手に程よく馴染みます。
牛本来の傷やシワ・血管や毛穴の痕などの自然な表情は、使ううちに風合いとして味わいが増す素材です。
素朴な革の匂い、温かな手触りを持つ、古くから皮革の代表格です。植物の渋のみで、なめされている為、自然に優しく廃棄後も土にかえることができる、素朴ですが環境にも良い素晴らしい素材と言えます。
使っていくうちに手の皮脂などが染み込んだり、日光や摩擦などで艶が出てきたり、飴色へと変化、唯一無二の存在へとなります。
