※他の商品と一緒にご購入される場合も割り引きしますので、コメント欄までお知らせ下さい。Mi-24は、旧ソビエト連邦（現ロシア）のミル設計局によって開発された攻撃用・輸送用ヘリコプターである。NATOコードネームでは「Hind（ハインド）」と呼ばれます。
1970年代初頭に実戦配備されたMi-24は、世界で初めて本格的に開発された「武装ヘリコプター兼小規模な空挺兵員輸送機能を併せ持つ機体」として知られています。その特異な設計には、コックピットを前後に分けたタンデム配置、重武装と装甲化された機体構造、さらには後部キャビンに最大8名の兵員を搭乗させるスペースがある点などが挙げられます。
武装面では、固定武装として機首に機関砲や機関銃を備え、さらに翼下パイロンにロケット弾ポッドや対戦車ミサイル（AT-2、AT-6など）を搭載可能であり、対地攻撃能力に優れています。一方で、巡航速度・航続距離などの性能も比較的高く、輸送任務や空挺支援、救難活動にも使用されてきました。
Mi-24はソビエト連邦やその同盟国をはじめ、多くの国で採用され、アフガニスタン紛争やアフリカ、中東の各紛争地域でも多数が実戦投入された。その後継機にはMi-35などがあり、電子装備の近代化や兵装の強化が図られています。
その独特な外観と多用途性から、「空飛ぶ戦車」とも称され、現在も一部の国では改良型が現役で使用されています。
