ボタン電池の豆知識
ボタン電池の主な種類
●LR - アルカリ電池
●CR - リチウム電池
●SR - 酸化銀電池
●PR - 空気亜鉛電池
ボタン電池の型番のうち C というのはリチウム電池のことで、 R というのは円形のこと。平べったい形だけじゃなくて単三型とかの円筒形も Rです。
後ろの 4桁の数字だけど、最初の 2桁が直径（単位mm）で、後ろの2桁 は厚さ （単位0.1mm） ということ。
ボタン電池は型番を見るだけで種類から大きさまでわかるから素人には便利です。
外国製なんかで AG13 とか L1154 とか A76 とかの型番の電池も全部 LR44相当品。
CR2032 とかの型番はほぼ世界共通になってるけど、なぜかデュラセルだけは CR を DL に置き換えて型番にしている。
※メーカ型番うや外国製電池の型番について、電池互換表ご参考下さい。
リチウム電池の場合は「コイン型リチウム電池」で、アルカリマンガン電池の場合は「アルカリボタン電池」と呼んでいる。
リチウム電池は薄くて平べったいのが多くて、アルカリマンガン電池の場合は小さくて厚みがあるものが多いからと思われます。
SR というのは酸化銀電池。 LR44 と SR44 はサイズが同じで、電圧がちょっと違うけどたいていどっちでも使える。
ただ SR44 の方が電圧がやや高く、、そのかわり長持ちするし、最後まで電圧が下がらない。だから時計なんかではたいてい SR型が使われている。
PR は空気亜鉛電池。補聴器くらいしか使われているのを見たことがない。シールをはがしたら使わなくてもどんどん容量が減っていくから、電源入れっぱなしの機器でないと意味がない。
リモコンなんかも電源入れっぱなしなんだけど、あまり消費電流が多くないから大電流向きの PR を使うメリットがない。
リモコンには使わなかった時の減りが少ないリチウム電池（CR）の方が向いている。
