商品解説■JR211系は、国鉄時代の1985(昭和60)年に登場したステンレス車体の直流近郊型電車です。
国鉄分割民営化後は、各社において使用線区に対応した新たな区分により製造された車両も多く、JR東海に登場した5000番台は名古屋・静岡都市圏でのラッシュ対策としてオールロングシート、トイレ無しの仕様で登場しました。
その後、使用線区の拡大とともに長距離運用も増え、クハ210形にトイレを設置した5300番台が登場しました。
