世界初復刻！数あるアジムス・ワークスの最高峰でありレアグルーヴ、ブラジリアン・サイケの名盤としても人気の高いアナ・マゾッチの名盤『Ana Mazzotti (1977)』が CD/LP にてリイシュー！新曲は 「Eta, Samba Bom」のみで、残りは1974年作のマスターテープを一部オーバーダブするという極めて特殊な方法でレコーディングされた本作。前作に続きアジムスからジョゼ・ホベルト・ベルトラミ(キーボード)、アレックス・マリェイロス(ベース/ギター)が参加したのに加え、エドゥアルド・アサドによるゴージャスなホーン・セクションを補完。そして何よりもヴォーカルをより徹底的に再録音したのだという。「Agora Ou Nunca Mais」や「Eu Sou MaisEu」はさらにパワフルかつグルーヴィーに、また「Cordao」や「Bairro Negro」といった曲では同時期のエリス・レジーナやイヴァン・リンスらを彷彿とさせる鬼気迫る歌声に圧倒される。 (C)RS
