1ラフマニノフは１８７３－１９４３でつい最近の１９４３年（昭和１８年第二次大戦終結２年前）
まで生きておられた方です
2晩年はアメリカに亡命、音楽活動を亡くなる前まで続けられた方です
ピアノ演奏の大家で晩年までピアニストとして一流でした、米全国でコンサートを開き
それが常に満員で巨万の収入を得て晩年はビバリーヒルズに住みました
3その演奏会で残された記録から米RCAが１９７３年ころにレコード化されたものです
4この盤はそれを独RCAがプレスしたもので米RCA盤よりも音が安定しているともされています
