【内容】
韓国三大の義賊のひとり“イム・コッチョン”の波瀾万丈の生涯を
描いた歴史大作!朝鮮王朝中期。賤民の村で育ったイム・コッチョンは
良き師匠に恵まれて学問や武術を身に着ける。
やがてコッチョンは倭軍との戦いに参戦を志願するが
賤民出身という理由で拒否されてしまったことから
世の中に不満を抱き始め、集まってきた仲間たちと共に盗賊団を組織する。
初めは生きるのためにやむを得ず盗みを働いていた林巨正だったが
人が階層化される社会に疑問を頂き敵対していくようになる。
こうして歴史上名高い朝鮮王朝対白丁の戦いは火蓋を切った!!
悪徳官吏らばかりを狙い、奪った金品を貧しい者たちに分け与える彼らは
庶民の間で義賊として有名になってゆき・・・。
