未使用品 Alleva-Coppolo KBP5 Reverse P主にJBスタイルが多いAlleva-Coppoloですが、当機はPBスタイルであるKBPモデルの中でも珍しい"Reverse P"ピックアップ仕様の5弦モデルとなります。
80年代にHard RockやHeavy Metalなどのジャンルを演奏していたミュージシャンが愛用していたエレキベースに数多く採用されていたReverse Pレイアウトのピックアップですが、当機でも通常のKBPモデルに比べややアグレッシブなサウンドに仕上がっていると言えます。
1弦、2弦の高音弦側はネック側に近づく事により音の太さが増し、逆に低音弦側ではブリッジ側に近づく事により、例えるなら70年頃のJazz Bassのリアピックアップ位置変更が行われたかのような、よりクリアで高音のレスポンスに優れたサウンドに仕上がっております。
また非常に各弦のバランスが良く、純粋なPBモデルに近いモデルで"Reverse P"ピックアップレイアウトを採用している個体は少ないかと思いますが、このバランスの良さを実現できたのはJimmy Coppoloの類い稀なるセンスによるところと言えるでしょう。
