17世紀のイタリア音楽の巨匠モンテヴェルディが書いたオペラ＜アリアンナ＞ 作品全体は失われましたが、劇中歌われたアリアンナの歌「私を死なせてください Lasciatemi morire」は聴いた人全ての心の中に刻み付けられ、この歌だけが後世に伝えられました。このアリアンナの嘆きは聴衆だけでなく、当時の音楽家にも霊感を与え、幾つもの派生作品が生まれました。A.ルーリーが率いるコンソート・オヴ・ミュージックがこの作品群を演奏しています。彼らの清冽且起伏のある演奏をお楽しみください。今谷和徳先生の丁寧な解説文も読み応えがあります。録音年：1983&1984
