2006年の話題作となった映画「日常」。本作は2007年2月に公開された続編をDVD化したもの。舞台は大阪のど真ん中、季節は真夏。そのある一日の「日常」の断片が切り取られ、生き生きと描かれている。ストーリーは無いのだが、 積み重ねられた日常の断片がうまくつなぎあって絡み合い、独特の空気感を醸し出している。ストリートミュージシャン、イラストレーター、 警官、店頭販売員などさまざまな人々の喜怒哀楽、そして恋。他愛もないけれど、どこか愛おしくなる日常の風景にあふれた作品だ。出演は、ケンドーコバヤシ、友近、ブラックマヨネーズ、麒麟、アジアン、ハリセンボンなど吉本の若手芸人たち。元モーニング娘。の安倍なつみも特別出演している。（仲村英一郎）
