ニュースキャスターのチャドを利用して人類に好印象を与え、
人類の知識を超える高度な医療技術で人々の病気を治癒するビジターたちに人類は多大な期待と信頼を寄せるようになるが、
その裏に隠された恐ろしい陰謀にまだ気がつくものはいなかった・・・
そんな中FBIの対テロ戦略部の捜査官エリカは相棒のデールと共にテロ組織のアジトに乗り込み、
そこで死体と共に発見した情報を元に“ある集会”に乗り込む。
同じ頃神父のジャックも、Vに襲われて目の前で息絶えた信者より託されたメモを頼りに、その集会に潜り込む。
そこはVの壊滅を計画するレジスタンスの集会だった。
そこでエリカはジャックや、Vの一員でありながら脱出し、Vに反旗を翻したライアンなどと出会う。
しかし彼らにはVの魔の手が迫っていた・・・！
