嘗て世界最高のヴァイオリンディーラーとして君臨したヒル商会のケースです。しかも、希に見かける革張りではなく木製の超貴重な一品です。
時代は、恐らく十九世紀後半から二十世紀の極く初め位かと思います。
状態はスライド式のロック機構を持つブラス（真鍮）製の金具は今も動作します。
貴重なヒル商会の銘板がきちんと残っております。弦パイプと鍵は失われています。
オリジナルの楽器ブランケットが付属致します。裏側にクラックがあります。
画像の楽器はフルサイズですが、これは参考で、出品には含まれません。
内張りはこのままでも宜しいかも知れませんが、もし今後後世に残されるべく
大事にお考えでしたらレストアされると尚宜しいかと思います。
随分と探してようやく手に入れた逸品ですが、終活につき手放します。
日本を代表する超一流店にこれと同手のヒルケースがインテリアで飾られていて
同様に部屋に飾ってみたい一心で探し出して入手した幻の木製ケースです。
