Type-Rスネアドラム用ヘッド開発過程での課題、「黒」「コーテッド」「重低音」「ヌケ」4つのキーワードをクリアした個性的なドラムヘッドです。
専用のブラックフィルムに特殊クリアコーテッド材を施し、重量感のあるカラー（サッシ）でフィルムをしっかり巻き込む工法で製作。
シングルプライヘッドのヌケの良さとダブルプライヘッドの野太い低音感を合わせ持つ個性はロックサウンドに最適なドラムヘッドです。
また、従来のブラックコーテッドヘッドにありがちな「色うつり」の問題もコーテッド材を透明にすることで解消。スティックや他のヘッドを汚すことがありません。
アサプラ社とのコラボレーションで実現した、コーテッドブラックは、Type-Rのみならず他のスネアドラムでもその個性を体感していただけます。
