| 商品説明 | ロバート・キャパ【1913-1954】ハンガリー ブダペスト生まれの20世紀の代表的な報道カメラマン。本名はエンドレ・(エルネー)・フリードマン。ピカソら多方面の芸術家たちとの幅広い交際も有名があったそうです。1919年福音派学校に入学、1923年マダーチ・イムレ・ギムナジウムに入学。その後、写真通信社「デフォト」の暗室係となります。1943年に北アフリカ戦線、イタリア戦線を取材。その間に「コリアーズ」の契約を解除され「ライフ」誌と契約し、1944年にはノルマンディー上陸作戦を取材。第1歩兵師団第16連隊第2大隊E中隊に従軍しました。この際100枚以上の写真を撮影したらしいのですが、現像の際に興奮した技師が溶剤を加熱しすぎてしまったため、まともな写真として残っているものは十数枚しかないそうです。これらの写真は「キャパの手の震えによるボケ」として発表され、これは後に彼の写真著書「ちょっとピンぼけ」のタイトルにもなっています。1954年5月25日小川の堤防で地雷を踏み死亡。「戦争写真家の一番の願いは廃業になること。」そう願っていた彼も、やはり戦争が原因で命を落としてしまいました・・・・享年40でした。 |
