| 商品説明 | リチャード・アベドンは、ニューヨークにスタジオを構えて仕事を行っていました。ニューヨーク五番街の有名な女性洋服店を経営する一家に生まれたという生活環境により、少年時代からファッション雑誌に親しんでいたそうです。彼は特にマーティン・ムンカッチの動きのある 写真を好んで製作し、40年代前半に当時のハーパース・バザー誌のアートディレクターであった、アレクセイ・ブロドヴィッチ主催の有名なデザインラボラトリーで写真を学びました。 その後、彼の推薦で1946～1965年までハーパース・バザー誌のスタッフ写真家として活躍します。優れた仕事仲間に恵まれたアベドンはドキュメンタリー、コラージュやポートレートの手法を取り入れた革新的なファッション写真で一世を風靡しました。宇多田ヒカルのＣＤジャケットや有名女性歌手起用の化粧品コマーシャル写真を撮影したことで、日本でも広く知られています。 |
