傑作と名高い『2004 A.I.』から約1年、早くもAIが新作を発表! 本作には、彼女の生誕の地であるLAへの郷愁を綴ったウエッサイ・ナンバーをはじめ、ポジティヴ・フォースの「We Got The Funk」に匹敵するこの上なくアーシーなフロア・チューンや、メアリー・J.ブライジのライヴにゴスペル・クワイアーとして参加した経験をフルに発揮したダンス・グルーヴなど、新しい面やルーツを滲ませたフレッシュかつハイクオリティな楽曲が満載。なかでも注目は、シンガーとしての自分を世に知らしめるべく、自身の作品ではあえて封印してきたラップを堂々と解禁した「Once In A Life Time」。気高くも美しいAIの主張、ヴァースごとに異なるフロウ、そしてアグレッシヴなラップとは対極を成す、甘くセクシーなコーラス・ワークが、世にもクールなサウンドスケープを創造しているのである。前作では“恋”を描いていたのに対し、今作では“ラブ”に深まっているリアルな詞も興味深い、AIの最高傑作。
