米海軍SEALの一大拠点 カリフォルニア コロナド発のサーフィン ファッションブランド “URT”のロゴステッカーです。
URTの創設者であるイアン氏は同じサーファー同士として、また親しい友人として、2016年にイラクで戦死したSEAL隊員 故Charles Keating IV氏と深い結びつきがありました。
Keating氏はURTの大ファンで、彼の残存する写真ではアシカ (SEAL) が吠えるURTロゴのパッチやキャップをSEALが使っている、というユーモアあふれる写真が多く残っているのもURT、そしてコロナドの海への深い愛着が伺えます。
コロナドの英雄を追悼しURTでは様々なメモリアル製品をリリースしており、トレーニングやワークアウト、私生活でも現役のSEALのみならず広く米軍で愛用されています。
