スティーヴン・ジェイ・グールド（Stephen Jay Gould、1941年9月10日 - 2002年5月20日）は、アメリカ合衆国の古生物学者・進化生物学者・科学史家・地球科学者。1973年にハーバード大学の比較動物学教授となり、1982年からハーバード大学アリグザンダー・アガシ記念教授職を務めた。ダーウィン主義をベースにした進化論の論客であり、膨大な読書量からくる博学の科学エッセイストとして活躍していた。今日最も広く読まれ、最も影響力の大きな大衆科学作家の一人。
