倶利迦羅龍王 倶利迦羅は龍の名にして、黒色の意があり、龍の剣をまとうは不動明王を表す。
不動明王を念じる功力によってこの龍を駆使し、また保護を受ける信仰から出発して、不動明王の化身とし三昧耶形とする龍。
不動明王が持つ魔を打ち払う剣「倶利伽羅剣(倶利伽羅龍王)」。 剣に巻き付いた倶利伽羅竜王は迷いを除き人々を守護するといわれています。
宝剣は、柄に金剛杵の一つである三鈷杵が付いた不動明王の「利剣」になぞらえた密教法具です。困難や煩悩を振り払う法具として用いられ、身近にあるだけで、厄除け・災難除けになるといわれます。
