| ■商品説明 | 20世紀イタリアの画家、彫刻家であり、また形而上絵画の創始者で、後のシュルレアリスム運動に多大な影響を与えたと言われている芸術家です。今日、キリコの典型的な作品として評価されているのは、1910年代を中心とした、初期の作品群が多く。キリコの作品のうち、1910年代の作品だけを評価するという姿勢は、アンドレ・ブルトンによる、シュルレアリスムから見た評価の影響といわれています。今日では、1910年代よりあとの時期の作品もまた、おおむね評価されるにいたっている。なお、キリコは意図的に正しくない制作年の表記を作品に行っていることが多く、キリコの作品の正しい制作年を決定することは、しばしば困難であるといわれています。 また、キリコは非常に毒舌家であり、アメデオ・モディリアーニを始めとする画家たちに対して、辛辣な批評をしていたらしく、カルロ・カッラに作品を盗作呼ばわりされた後はいっそう気難しい性格になってしまったようです。 |
