東京を拠点に活動する現行インダストリアルミュージックフォーマットによる２人組ユニット、Ｃａｒｒｅの単独名義作としては２０１５年発となる恐らく通算２作目。アルバムコンセプトとしては画家の近藤さくらからの＜絵を描くとき用に、ミックスをつくってほしい＞という依頼から始まったとの記載が関係筋のサイトにはあって、他にも＜約３年間、デモ音源や制作中の絵を交換するなかで、両者の関係性が育まれ＞、＜絵の展示におけるバックグラウンドミュージックではなく、絵の気配としての音楽。アルバムにおけるアートワークではなく、楽器のひとつとしての絵＞というコメントがあったりして、本作の音楽性を紐解くうえではなかなか含蓄に富んだイメージが湧いてくるので一興。或いはむしろそういう経緯はいったん脇に置いといたほうが、もしかしたら音響作品としての本質を掴みやすいのかもしれず、いろんな方角からの聴覚アプローチで様々な変容を見せるのも本作の魅力ということで、なので上記のインダストリアル系という先入観だけで本作に接するとおもいっきり肩透かしを喰らうのは当然。このモノトーンに蠢く電子音響の浸潤を聴いているとほとんど５０年代勃興期の電子音楽とかライブラリー系の電子音響、或いは効果音用のレコードなんかを彷彿とさせ、実際に知らずに聴かされたらその筋の未知の激レア廃盤か？なんて妄想も実は楽しかったりしてズバリこれ、Ｃｒｅｅｌ Ｐｏｎｅのラインナップに本気で入っていそうな感じがヤバいというか、この何とも夢遊病的ビザールな音響テクスチャーがちょっとスゴ過ぎな真性サイケデリックなトリップミュージックといった様相で、特に６０ｓサイケと７０ｓジャーマンエクスペリメンタルサイケに於ける音響ギミック的な側面を純粋培養したような印象もある脳内トリップ必至な怪作。CRRE-grey scale(MGMD A Org)
