①戦後同世代のハイフェッツらと共にバイオリニストとして名声の頂点をきわめるメニューインの名録音。この英国に帰化してサーと男爵の称号を得たメニューインの登場です
②やや固い締まった響きで,音楽の運びはオーソドックスだが,独特のバランス感覚を持ち合わせた演奏です。1小節単位で表現をコントロールし、爆発的な感動に導くような演奏です。
③特にこのレコードに収録された７番（後日６番になります）K１９０のダブルコンチェルトは、巨匠が弾くことはめったなくそういう意味でも貴重です
③この盤は東芝がレコード事業に進出し川口に工場を作って東芝音工を発足させた初年のレコードです
その最初のゴールドサークルステレオマークの初版盤でとてもいいプレスです、この時は当然金型は英EMI製で
プレスだけ東芝がやっています、プレスを何回も繰り返していて良質の盤だけ市場に出していた時代fでこの盤も
