約2年ぶりの新作は前作『ぼちぼち銀河』にも〈柴田聡子inFIRE〉のメンバーとして参加していた岡田拓郎が共同プロデュース&アレンジとミックスを担当。ベースのまきやまはる菜とドラムの浜公氣を加えた3人のバンド・アンサンブルを軸としながら、曲によってプログラミングも交え、R&B風の多声コーラスをアクセントとした秀逸なアヴァン・ポップ集となっていて、柴田と岡田の関係性は石橋英子とジム・オルークを連想させたりも。香田悠真がストリングス・アレンジを担当し、独自の言語感覚による歌詞と歌声が文字通り映画のような美しさを湛える"Movie Light"は特に素晴らしい。
