hideの生誕50周年(2014年時)記念アルバム。全てのシングル曲を網羅し、全曲リマスタリング、SHM-CDで贈る一枚。※2014年、初回出荷分のみ、hide“スペシャル怪人カード"第7弾封入（合計5種類のうち、1枚ランダム封入）でしたが、初回出荷分はすでに終了しており、現在怪人カードは封入されておりませんので予めご了承ください。
hide生誕50年を迎えた2014年、再現不可能と言われた、最後の未発表曲「子 ギャル」が完成!
「子 ギャル」は本来3rdアルバム『Ja,Zoo』に収録される予定だったが、制作途中の、ラフなボーカルによるデモ音源しか存在しなかったため、再現不可能と思われていた幻の楽曲。
ヤマハが開発した最新の歌声合成技術(VOCALOID)と、hideと共に楽曲制作してきたI.N.A.のプロデュースワークが融合したからこそ実現した奇跡の新曲を、アルバムとしてリリース!
アルバム『子 ギャル』は新曲 「子 ギャル」に加えて、代表曲ともいえる15曲を“Bonus Track"として新たにリマスタリングして収録した16曲入り。
初回限定盤は“Extra Track"として、1998年、アルバム『Ja,Zoo』制作当時の貴重な「子 ギャル」デモ音源も収録した17曲入り、さらにhideフルカラーフォトによる豪華三方背ケース仕様!
