1927年に1927年にアメリカ・ロードアイランド州で設立されたコスチュームジュエリーブランド。当初はモノクラフト製品会社で、女性のハンドバッグ用に金メッキと銀メッキのモノグラム銘板を製造していました。1937年にコスチュームジュエリーの制作を開始して大手ブランドに成長し、1982年にはイヴ・サンローランのジュエリーもプロデュース。特にクリップタイプのイヤリングは、耳が痛くならない画期的な構造で絶大な人気を誇りました。
