（新形式は当初から取付）が施されており、今やその動きはJR、私鉄問わず広がっています。
JR東日本では常磐線のE531系（5両付属編成）、中央線のE233系（青梅・五日市線用4両編成）
八高線・川越線のE231系に見られるほか、JR西日本の227系にも見られるようにになりました。
Nゲージ車両では大変小さいパーツですが、安全運行を支える大事な外観上のポイント。
